What does secure delete do?

Secure delete is a multi-step process that overwrites data and then deletes data to prevent hacking.

What does move to vault do?

When moving a file to the vault you are actually encrypting the file with a password protection layer to prevent hacking.

What does Redact mean?

Redact means to put into to suitable form as such we are replacing sensitive data with ‘XXX’. This overwrites your personal information and makes it impossible to reach by hackers.

Where can I get a registration key?

Registration keys are sent in an email after Identity Pro is purchased. Please look for an email from info@atherionsoftware.com for your registration key. If you are unable to find this key please contact support@atherionsoftware.com.

Where does Internet Data come from?

Internet Data is the information that is entered into your internet browser. It can be entered in as a search, a login, or as a purchase. Many browsers do not properly protect his information and as such it should be delete where ever possible.

How do I check for updates?

To check for updates, open Identity Pro, Click Help, Then click Check for Updates.

How do I edit my Personal Information?

To change or edit your personal information click on the ‘My Wallet’, then enter your master password, and then click ‘Edit My Personal Information.

Where do the ignored items go?

If you choose to ignore an item, you can manage ignored files by clicking ‘My Wallet’, then enter your master password, and then click ‘Managed Ignored Items.’

How do I change my password?

To change the master password click “Identity Vault”, enter your password, and then click “Master Password”.

What if I forgot my password?

If you forget your password we cannot replace your password or unlock Identity Pro. Please write down your password in a secure desk draw or other secure location as we cannot supply replacements.
